BACHACO is an international Afro-Caribbean Roots Rock band based out of Miami, Florida in the U.S. Their music successfully blends feel-good and conscious lyrics through the mix of Reggae, Dancehall and Ska with Rock, Hip-Hop and even South America’s own popular Caribbean rhythm, Cumbia.

Wed Feb 17th - Bachaco!!!! Live at the Stage!!

An Explosive High Energy International Groove is the language Bachaco speaks. Since its formation in 2007 the band has managed to successfully blend the Caribbean’s most globally loved Reggae, Dancehall and Ska with South America's own Caribbean legacy rhythm of Cumbia. The marriage of these elements is only possible thanks to the band's own diverse range of nationalities: Venezuelan, Jamaican-American, Colombian-Irish and Puerto Rican. Such a melting-pot allows Bachaco's creativity to flow naturally. Songs
are written in English and Spanish interchangeably and the sounds take you on a trip deep through your own paradise, right from the dance floor.

With over 300 shows in the course of their short career, BACHACO, an indie band, has been able to capture fans of all ages and ethnicities from all over the world. The band has already toured all the way from Argentina to Northern California. Some of their hit songs include “Cumbia Pa’ La Nena”, “Jamaican Cumbia” and “Vibing”, tracks that have already been licensed to international companies like FOX and ZUMBA prior to their official release. After much work and preparation Bachaco is ready to release their first studio album, titled “Bachaco” accompanied by the video of the first single “Cumbia Pa’ La Nena”.

Bachaco was founded by Venezuelan brothers Edilberto, lead vocals and Jose Morillo , bass and vocals, along with Domingo Medina on drums, also from Venezuela, Jamaican guitarist and vocalist Matthew Jacquette and Bruce McKinnon, trumpet and vocals, half Colombian half Irish. Puerto Rican Alexander Cruz, on trombone, joined the band later in 2009.
