Batuke’s audience varies in many aspects, with age group ranging from mid-twenties to late-fifties, and including anyone who enjoys dancing to live funk and Brazilian music. Batuke is unique due to the fact that it is the only regional band bridging the gap between Brazilian music and other contemporary Latin and North American genres, while presenting the majority of songs in Portuguese.
