It all started with a girl and her guitar.
Unlimited Devotion was the idea of bringing old and new friends together to create legendary jams and recreate the Grateful Dead concert experience. UD has the distinction of having the only female lead guitar player in the world to ever to tackle the “Jerry Garcia” role and her unique and professional approach to the music has gained many fans in deadhead circles. Joni was influenced by Jerry Garcia at a very early age and has been able to harness her talents to lead a band of seasoned musicians that have graced many stages in south Florida in a number of musical projects throughout the years. Joni is surrounded by some very talented musicians including two members of the legendary south Florida Dead tribute band, Crazy Fingers. Corey Dwyer assumes the lead vocals and keyboard role, while Bubba Newton holds down the backbone on bass . To complete the band, Al Zilinsky, the original co-founder of Crazy Fingers, takes on the rhythm guitar duties , while Jamie Powell handles percussion and drums. Expect the unexpected with UD as they travel through the musical real estate of the Grateful Dead song book. In addition to your Grateful Dead favorites, UD has been known to pull out selections from the Pink Floyd catalog from time to time as Joni has a knack for emulating the hypnotic guitar leads of David Gilmore to the delight of fans.
DRESS CODE:
Official Dress Code for Friday Night's Grateful Dead tribute concert is no dress code, come as you are, tie dyes and hippie regalia fully welcomed! Vendors will be on hand selling the tie dye shirts and dresses, cool jewelry and just some funky things to take home!
