Miami’s premiere live music venue, The Stage, announces a unique St. Patrick’s Day celebration honoring the traditionally hard-partying holiday with a little Latin flair and a string of musical performances from three of our city’s most flavorful local bands on Saturday, March 17, 2012. Cover charge for the evening will be $10 and doors open at 9 p.m. The St. Patty’s Day blowout will include performances by Cuban Son maestros, Conjunto Progreso, downtown soul players, Ketchy Shuby and Miami’s Latin-funk fusionistas, Electric Piquete. The first annual festival promises to be the hottest musical event this side of El Dia de Los Reyes Magos! Forget the green beer at this Dia de San Patricio bash— live music lovers can enjoy refreshing $5 mojitos that will add just the right buzz to the night’s rollicking festivities. Some of Miami’s best food trucks will be on hand throughout the night at The Stage’s courtyard to relieve revelers in between all the dancing and drinking.
